Someone has been successfully prosecuted for spitting - at a Nottingham tram conductor - by the use of DNA evidence from kits which PSV drivers have been issued with.

It won't do much to stop the repulsive habit all too often seen on our streets and sports fields but Hoorah! I'm glad one person has been punished for it.
