I know it's her personal reason to leave, but I wonder how many will be moved around when there is a cabinet reshuffle?

I can't see Miliband will be moved, as that could make him challenge Gordon Brown for the leadership? So keep him where he can keep an eye on him Wink

Who else do you think he will shuffle in the cabinet? ( Not a Rolling Stone ) Laughing

Mark, given that you admit it was Ms Kelly's own decision, surely the title of your thread is misleading? She's hardly a "casualty".

Mark,

Why don't you get a job with the Daily Mail? Your title-grabbing headlines are never justified by what you write in the message.

You're just Tabloid Man!

When confronted this morning on BBC Breakfast News, Gordon Assured us ( over and over again.. ) that Ms Kelly was stepping down purely for family reasons because she has four kids.
He even gave their ages, and, she has a lovely caring husband too. They're a team, just like Gordon and his show opening wife, they are a team too, they travel all over the country together..

What a load of sickly tripe. Evil or Very Mad

I assume that Ms Kelly plans to continue as a backbench MP.

Escapee maybe?

Wasnt she considering resigning in protest against Gordon anyway?

Well he couldn't officially say that on screen. By the body language Gordon was showing off, he knew the real reason? Yes families come first. That looks good for the Labour Party who are trying to help families. Wink

At the risk of getting yelled at, I would suggest that the only "casualty" in the event of Ruth Kelly leaving, is the reduction in influence of Opus Dei, the shadowy Church of Rome mafia.

Political opponent Vince Cable spoke warmly of Ms Kelly on Question Time last night.
