A Muslim who worked as a fork lift truck driver for Tesco and says he didn't know that the store sold alcohol is suing on the grounds of religious discrimination after having the carriage of alcohol put into his job. Yet he has apparently admitted that he knew that other large chain grocers sold the substance.

I think we can recognise a greedy chancer when we see one.

Today's Telegraph has a letter of comment on the issue from a teacher who doesn't believe in God so doesn't apply to work at faith schools.

Seems fair to me.

Ian.

If Tesco didn't sell alcohol, maybe there'd be a few less pubs shutting down every week.

How can anyone not know the country's biggest shop sells alcohol? Good grief.

Has he had his eyes closed? He's talking c&&p and trying to rinse the British system. Stupid lawyers will take any case on and he probably win it.
