Fantastic news for fans of Richard Allinson.
Richard will be covering for Chris Evans on Drivetime for week commencing 13-10-08.
Good to see Richard getting a run out again for this slot-I really think he is very well suited for Drivetime.
Looking forward to this already.
Allinson rocks. |

That's great news - either of Richard or Stuart on at 5pm is fine with me. Evans is running Wogan close with his holidays! Wasn't it just the other week he was preaching his staycation after 2 weeks off?! |

Great to hear Richard being rolled out again... but yes, Chris' holidays do seem rather frequent this year. I do love listening to Chris but he always seems to be at his best when he's had a few weeks to warm up - these holidays are making it all rather 'bitty' - any fellow Evans fans agree?

Evans & Wright don't have enough holidays for my liking. I suppose Nemone & Steve Lamacq are greatful to them. A good alternative to Radio 2's afternoon rubbish. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Just for the record, I'm not an Evans fan! I do recall him asking listeners whether he should take 2 weeks off at a time, or just the 1. I think most agreed 1 was ok, so that they wouldn't miss him as much! Twisted logic, methinks! |

Not long to go now.
Really looking forward to hearing Richard back on Radio from next Monday.
It's been a while since he was last on the station.
Allinson rocks. |

Agreed. Justice, in a small way, is being served - Allinson on weekdays next week, Waker the week after, Maconie the following week. I guess it would be too much asking for them all in one week! |

Only a few weeks actually. Wasn't it Dawn Patrol that he was covering? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Is Richard covering for Steve Wright on Monday only or is he covering the whole week.
Thanks in anticipation. |

I heard Steve mentioning the Guests for the week after next. So looks like Steve is off again. |
