We knew he would lose the backing of Boris the Mayor Johnson. Once Tony Blair left and then Ken Livingstone was removed from the Mayors office then it wouldn't be long until another causality in the pack.

Also there was a lot of pressure with the sad shooting of Menezes on the London tube.

Know doubt he will get a big pay off and comfortable pension.

An inevitable outcome.

Why has it taken so long.

Boris must be cheering loudly.

And the Tory bashers must be screaming at Boris. Oh the Tory Conference is over. Strange? Rolling Eyes

Seems like very few people or Met officiers liked Blair so I doubt he will be much missed.

Not a copper's copper.

His 'not knowing' that day about Menezes being the 'wrong man' was either a lie or very poor management, either way he should have got the sack then and there. Then he blocked IPCC investigators for three days, presumably time to get some sort of 'story straight'. Appalling.
