We bought a pack of 6 Wagon Wheels in Tesco's today. The outside of the packaging has "size matters " written all over it.

On opening up one of the individual packs I am sure they are still smaller than I remember them being when I was a teenager.

Size does matter!

Laughing Everything's smaller than it was then (well, nearly...)

A Mars bar used to last me all morning... when I was ten.

Some companies have been reducing the size of packs as a veiled price increase. Have you noticed that the 250g bars of Cadbury's Dairy Milk have shrunk to 230g?

Wagon Wheels are proportionally smaller because we have grown. Back in the old days a Wagon Wheel was a two-hand job and many a mouthful too, but now with larger more dextrous fingers and more capacious mouths – they’re gone in a couple of bites- very disappointing.

I see Monster Munch are being advertised as "bigger like they used to be". What they don't add is that the price is also bigger at around 58p per bag!

The Yorkie bar .. "Not for girls" campaign is for exactly the opposite reason.

Every girl should have one in their hand bag ....

Use the phrase but don't remember the content of or eating the bar - it was muesli apparently.
