We shouldn't believe Crime figures as a report is out that most are wrong across the country. That means we shouldn't believe any politician what they say. We all know this.

I thunk the very opposite! The credit crunch and Osborne saga have denied us getting information on many worthwhile news stories recently.
As I don't buy newspapers I've been scanning the digital Sky/BBC teletext screens recently reading about all sorts of things I would not normally bother about. Most of it of course is forgettable and at my age I do forget most news stories unless they are about music or history )
This week's celebrities aren't Osborne and Mandelson; they are Joey Barton (thug) and Kerry Katona (slurring on TV)

The crime figures are to my mind pretty meaningless, as I believe that many people don't bother to report the lower level stuff. So whether they're up or down is no big deal to me.

Crime is all about perception. The fear of crime & the randomness of criminal acts creates as much if not more stress than actual crime iteself. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
