I was hearing today that PC World and Currys were having poor sales.
I would expect we will see a lot more going under in 2009, but big retailers like PC World will all merge into one big group. You don't need so many retailers selling Computers and TV's on the high street?
Hypermarkets selling computers TV's etc- is whats needed now as the competition will always hit one or two retailers?
I think you need to look at Tesco and Asda who have really hit these other business now? |

You can't blame Tesco and Asda for PC world being a bag of shite.
Besides they sell hardly any computer stuff, occasionally they sell lappies but they don't sell accessories such as graphics cards or sound cards.
It's so easy to blame the supermarkets but it is not their fault PC world/Currys are in trouble. |

No. Tesco sell stock of previous models of laptops that PC World couldn't shift.
