Is it possible that Chris Evans could take over as hea d of radio 2?After all he did run Virgin radio for a while so he does have management experience and he clearly is very dedicated to the station.Could he just maybe throw his hat int the ring....

No. I can't see him doing this again. Although I remember when Gavin McCoy the Ex Controller of Smooth Radio London was an on air breakfast presenter until Graham Dene took over. So you never know.

As I remember, he left somewhat under a cloud. Oh and wasn't there a court case that didn't quite go his way? I certainly don't remember him emerging with much honour.

If I can remember he wanted to nick a transmitter off a radio station when he was on Radio One Breakfast.
