Following on with the healthy stuff...

To drink more cups of tea than glasses of wine; and to drink more glasses of wine than of brandy!

Just have to drink lots of tea!!

Mark, you have our respect, trying to lose weight in the winter is really hard! Good luck.

What shall I resolve? I know, I promise to have not one cigarette in 2009.

That wont be hard as I've never smoked Laughing

I don't make resolutions then I don't have to feel bad if bad if I break them. Good luck with the diet Mark M.

My resolution is to get the work finished on my house so we can move in, get on with some hobbies I've been planning for years then get some building work finished on our business so we can sell it and have a life far, far away from the infuriating hassle it brings! Razz

If I were the Prime Minister, one of my resolutions would be to ban texting altogether.. or at least by young females whilst walking.

Happy New Year Smile

My resolution is to sit back and relax and not complain so much about the lowering of standards on the BBC etc

For example yesterday I moaned about the standard of the presenters on the BBC New Years Eve coverage and the Blue Peter presentation of Matt Baker (same one he uses on gymnatsics or One man and his dog etc) and the 'ice queen' outfit of Kate Silverton, and the amateur carry on on ITV and the way it spoilt what was a good concert by Elton John, why did we have to have Will Young spoiling a song and so many adverts ?, and why so many celebs spoling so many shows, and there's the R2 standins and all that texting and reading out......

but all that may change , let's see how long I last Very Happy

You should have watched the Bruce Forsythe night instead... it was good entertainment.
Mind you, I can't stand Elton John.

A happy, safe and hopefully secure New Year to all! Razz
