Beat you by 15 mins, Ian. Mind you, She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed was preparing Bucks Fizz with last night's left over Champers.

A Happy and Prosperous 2009 to everyone

And of course you you have to refer to him as CUR as opposed to SIR!

Happy Hogmanay (I'm spending it this year up in the far north of Scotland)!!! Very Happy

Didn't get to bed until the wee small hours since I was *encouraged* to try learning the Highland Fling after midnight - considering my balance wasn't at its best after several vino horizontalos, I thought I did rather well! Laughing Musical accompaniment from my cousin on the pipes, too....

Having a relaxing day today, taking the train across to Kyle of Lochalsh for a run out in an hour's time. Had a little snow overnight but its mostly rather frosty up here (the air frost makes it look really snowy anyway). Had a walk out yesterday on top of one of the local hills to clear the cobwebs and there were lots of people out doing the same - a great way to spend a New Year's Day....

Best wishes to everyone for 2009.
