Who on earth is this on JV's slot today? I've had enough after 15 minutes.. the "Steven" gag ? went on far too long.
Switched over to Gold on DAB.

A 6 on 2, apparently. I've turned off, too.

But I'll be back on at 2pm for three hours of Motown.

Didn't hear all of this but looked at the list on-line..am still trying to get over the fact that End Of The Road by Boyz II Men came 2 places higher than Tears of A Clown by Smokey.. Shocked ...and I've Never Been To Me by Charlene was in at 24 but no place for My Guy... Shocked (insert any of your choice).......

Alas, I didn't ultimately hear much of this--other events overtook. But I'm looking forward to the special SOTS on Saturday.

Me too.. I recorded this afternoon's show and heard about a third of it. As Becky said, some of the tracks surprised me, a little too modern for my taste and not quite what I expected.

Glad I missed it, then....

This thread seems to be mixing 6 on 2 with 30 at 50! I thought the latter was a superb listen and the only one of the 30 at 50 shows that really worked. The others were all an hour too long so it would have been better if Bob had started at 4.00. There's only so much you can take of one artist.

You're right Nick! so I changed the title Laughing

Yes, being a fan of Prince, at least in his middle years, I enjoyed the show too. There was a time when I just had to listen to Prince, loud, every day, I even bought myself a Walkman so I could blow my ears off whilst walking the dogs!
I liked Madge from that era too but I agree, it went on too long...

Have to say that I enjoyed the Madonna programme, despite not being a particular fan.
