It's not really Clarkson's fault though, is it? Surely it's the responsibility of the Producer Andy Wilman. After all, he's the one responsible for production.

I guess not but he is a big Goof and he's always poking fun at ... well, almost anyone, and for any reason; he's big enough and ugly enough to take the blame Smile Clarkson for PM!! We'd all have an Aston Martin Vanquish, and have nothing better to do with our time than to see how far it goes on a gallon of petrol........ IN REVERSE!

I think most of us had twigged that, when he drives a Rolls Royce into a swimming pool, or machine-guns a Dodge Viper, or most of the other stunts in fact, they aren't exactly brand new, out of the showroom models, but scrap, MOT fails or mock-ups.

I can't watch a whole Top Gear - most of the races, challenges etc are too long and have become repetitive - but I do enjoy reading his newspaper columns now and again.

I couldn't watch TG at all - I loathe Clarkson and the whole prog is just an outdated sexist pile of bilge.

I can't stand Clarkson either. Never watch him on TV or read his waffle in my Sunday paper. Rolling Eyes

Mmmm. The Sunday Times. Employs Clarkson , AA Gill Rolling Eyes and Rod Liddle. Three of the most opinionated and uinpleasant "writers" out there.
I enjoy the daily and Saturday Times, but the ST is from a different planet.

Clarkson is a clever bloke who knows how to wind people up and get column inches as free PR for himself and those projects he's involved in (after all, what are we doing now?). I read his column regularly and I can see that most of it is clearly tongue-in-cheek. People take him more seriously than he does, and I quite like that. Even though he obviously supports the Tories.

I know it's "tongue-in-cheek" but he's still deeply unpleasant...

That's what I find so funny - the schoolboy humour that winds people up so much.
