Fantastic show today 16th March sitting in for Steve Wright. I enjoyed the banter. This is what the afternoon show should sound like. Shame it's not all week. |

Indeed it is. Such a shame the other buffoon that comes on at 5:00pm isn't away. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Definitely. It really brings the whole mood down. I've always thought that our Ricardo fits in to the afternoon slot very well. |

Lord Evan Elpuss, do you really have to turn every topic into a moan about Chris Evans?
Surely you can just stick to the subject once in a while. |

Talking of which, I don't like Evans either. Gets on me proverbials, he does. Very annoying. |

LEE and colby please note.
I support gazmando's point made here. There are other threads to specifically discuss or moan about Chris Evans.
Blatant or mischievous hijacking of threads with repetitive off-topic comments will be discouraged. Such postings will be relocated or merged to a more relevant thread.
e.g. all replies to the first posting of this thread will be relocated.

I know his show does attract over 5 million, and I do enjoy listening sometimes as I have for 20 odd years too him. Maybe he's been on the Radio for so long, you feel a breath of fresh air when he's not around, and then you have missed him when he returns. |

Hopefully Richard will return to Radio 2 shortly.
I think his best cover role is for the weekday show slot 2-5pm. |

I think Richard was ideal on Saturday afternoons for a 'chummy' listen! |

Hi Dave
They are both missed on Saturday afternoons these days.
I've a couple of recordings and when I occasionally play them you are reminded of what radio used to be like just 4 or 5 years ago how bad it's become a lot of the time sadly.

I enjoyed Chris Evans on saturday afternoons, he was a breath of fresh air.
Stuart was OK for a while but became routine, and when you realised some of the shows were recorded that was a let down.
Now I just switch off at 1pm |
