He won't be sacked, he's too popular.

He's good ratings material. If he were to be moved to R2 perhaps he should be given the slot currently occupied by the ginger nob? Moyles does at least have a sense of humour.

He looks aged when he appeared on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. Know wonder the media were talking about Radio 1 looking for younger presenters. Laughing Back to the subject, if Moyles keeps his nose clean then he will be OK. It's also the BBC way of tightening up a few things. I would blame Brand and the Sachgate saga, but I guess something else would have happened if it wasn't that?

He'll be relieved to read that, Mark. I'm sure he's been worrying.

Given the way the British tabloid press like to stir things up for the slightest reason (when they're not making up stories, of course), I'm sure that's the case.

Colby, that reminds me of the old aphorism:

'You cannot hope to bribe or twist, thank God, the British journalist
But seeing what the fellow will do, unbribed, there's no occasion to!'

You're implying that I'm defending that which has attracted criticism. I'm not. I'm just saying that in other times it wouldn't be seen as a big issue. It's only the tabloids who are stoking the fire in a manner consistent with their own proprietors' political agendae.

Moyles has always been in the media spotlight with his on air boyish ways? He doesn't play enough music on his show, he rants around slagging down who he likes and dislikes. The Beeb have now starting to come to a conclusion to put some of these out spoken, over paid stars on leads now. I bet Andy Parfitt have been carpeted over him?

But Moyles does have a self-deprecating sense of humour, which is part of his appeal, and he admits to supporting Leeds United.

I've never been a fan of Chris Moyles but I respect him for doing the Kilimanjaro (spelling?) climb.

Ian.
