I recently downloaded John huttleworth's one foot in the Gravy show. I have also heard quite a few of his Radio 4 shows but he often refers to radio 2 shows.
Imagine a sunday evening show on radio 2 with John Shuttleworth- with guest appearances by Mary & Ken worthington & a few special guests- spinning discs & chatting in between.
think it would work?

Or maybe he could Make Mary Merry!?

Wasn't he a regular on Mark Radcliffe's show? Well certainly in his solo days.

Has anyone seen the advert for Yorkshire Tea featuring John Shuttleworth, with Ken and Mary in the background?

Shuttleworth (or Graham Fellowes as he was then), Mark Radcliffe, Jon Ronson (from Radio 4 and The Guardian) and a certain Chris Evans were all in Frank Sidebottom's band in the 80s.

The bloke who plays Sidebottom is apparently quite resentful towards Fellowes for, basically, nicking the idea and making it successful.
