Don't know about anyone else on here but whenever a Bank Holiday comes around, expecially when I have my own holidays from work in a few weeks anyway, I don't feel any great compulsion to join everyone else travelling so I think,apart from visiting family today, I will be spending mine at home.

I may get the urge to travel but if I do that will mean setting off very early and trying to get to my destination before anyone else has even left home!

Last night was spent infront of the TV.Forgot all about Britain's Got Talent, watched Robin Hood(expecting a guest appearance by Brian Poole and the Tremeloes which never materialised Laughing

) and Primeval(which is vastly improved at the moment I think) and then switched to DVD for the rest of the evening.

My movie of choice was Keith, a fine little movie with two beats, down- and off-, which starred Jesse McCartney in the title role, along with the lovely Elizabeth Harnois, who you may remember from series like Point Pleasant, she has also been in Charmed and a number of other shows.

This movie I found to ber very watchable, not at all what I might have expected, exceptionally well played by everyone concerned,and typical of the sort of movie which leaves you wondering why it was bypassed by cinema success and went straight to DVD. If I reveal any of the storyline,save to say that Keith has a dark secret which turns out to be not at least what i expected,then I run the risk of spoiling it for people which I refuse to do.All I will do is warmly recommend it.

Following that another Donna Reed show marathon.Four or five more episodes of a great show which in my memory never came to British TV but is now available on region 1 DVD.(Same for Keith you will need a multi region player).Beautifully written and acted. Television from a happier time-at least in theory-and it lives forever.

Must get off now or I will miss my bus. Have a great weekend everyone,however you choose to spend it.

Well, we made no plans for the weekend.

Sat morning my wife visited our daughter/grandaughter while I did company accounts. Yes it's just gone 5th April but I like to go through the income/invoices etc quick and have all the tax stuff ready. I haven't been paid yet for some work I did in March. The business income is up 10% on previous year which is good, the coming year could be a problem, last month I only had work two days a week.

Saturday afteroon still on my own and watched football, and a slight tidy up in the garden, then picked out some records for next week's record programme, Billy Cotton et al Smile

Saturday night was beer festival at a local pub, well 3 miles a way, used a bus for first time in ages!

Today daughter family will be here for dinner about 4.00pm.

Monday. I'll actually have to do some work and write up some inspection reports Crying or Very sad

and maybe soem garden work if it doesn't rain.

In fact I have the whole week off work but as I haven't won any lotteries lately (should I start doing them? It might help!! Razz

) I think it's just going to be a hard earned lazy week!!

Thanks, John. It was our local drama group, which is a registered charity. I was one of about 30 members taking part.
