Why? He was caught speeding by a squad car not one of his own cameras, and he'd only pass as a hypocrite if (a) he lectured to people about the dangers are exceeding speed limits and (b) was then caught speeding. I'm not aware of that being the case.

The fact that he's the CEO of a company that makes speed cameras is actually incidental, although the tabloid have - as usual - made a mountain out of quite an ordinary molehill, and you've slavishly highlighted it here (the power of the tabloid media, eh Mark!).

Not all "the papers", just the trashy tabloid ones I think. And the BBC News website isn't always much better, either. A bit like the "issues" featured on Jeremy Vine's show in fact.
