A new series will go out on TV in November 2009 some 40 years after the last series finished.
This will without doubt will be the Tv highlight of this year. |

Flop of the year more like... why oh why do they think they can better the originals?
Maybe they will but I doubt it. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Depends if it's any good! It's already been delayed by a year and most of it has been reshot after rows on set between the crew and the leading man (so... no change there then )
Although US TV are showing it in November, there are whispers ITV have put it back to next year.
But it does have the lovely Hayley Atwell in it so I'll watch it whenever it comes on (and, to be fair, the show's themes are probably as relevant today as they were in the 60s) |

In keeping with equality matters, they'll probably cast Myleene Klass as one of the Number Twos, and I'm not saying that as a double entendre! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I'll give it a go but I'm not optimistic.
I just wish the bloody Americans would leave 60's British TV alone. They don't have a clue. The Saint, The Avengers, Thunderbirds. There isn't one that isn't a travesty of the oiginals _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

To be fair, this one started out as an ITV production but they didn't have the money so the producers had to go to America for funding.
And, while it is indeed due on US TV this year, for some reason ITV are holding it back until February or March. |

I see the 6 episodes from the new series have been named as follows
1-Arrival
2-Harmony
3-Anvil
4-Darling
5-Schizoid
6-Checkmate
Still no news on precise dates as to when the series going to be screened in the UK. |
