The Coventry Telegraph claims the presenter will be hosting a new Sunday morning show, with a story ahead of any due announcement. Clive Eakin and Paul Marriott will cover the show until the appointment of a "local" personality, the newspaper says.
David Clargo, managing editor of BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, told the newspaper: “Liz Kershaw leaves the breakfast show this week and will be starting a brand new Sunday morning show from September 6."
The Lancashire broadcaster starter her radio career at Radio Aire in Leeds, before joining the BBC and eventually Radio 1 where she presented the evening show, and co-hosted the weekend breakfast show with Bruno Brooks.
Liz joined BBC Coventry and Warwickshire in 2005 and can still be heard on BBC 6 Music each Saturday lunctime. Her last breakfast show will be this Friday, 17th July, something Liz was talking openly about on her Monday morning show. |
