It depends what you define as the "heyday" - it was still get a large audience share in the mid-late 90s, during which time Sky had already grabbed a share of the market.

Nothing against the woman as a person but her voice could peel paint off the walls, it might not be so bad if she had a volume switch.

I quite like Cilla but last week's was just "Silly Love Songs". She was just reading a script, and it sounded like it.
