This is what Libya are doing. Megrahi may not be the only one involved, but he slaughtered 270 people and should have served his time in the UK. Around the world people are laughing at us. Mistakes like this must not happen again

What if he didn't do it like a lot people including some relatives of those killed think?

Look on the bright side, the tax payer is no longer paying for his upkeep.

I simply don't believe that this decision was really left to the SNP. It seems far more likely that the UK Government was pulling the strings but found it convenient to be able to distance itself from the hoohah when the US found out.

I believe that this is all about oil, not compassion.

Compassion would have been to ensure that this man received appropriate hospital care in Scotland and was allowed to leave open his appeal against conviction.
