Now not wanting to start a rumour, BUT I just wonder if Graham Norton will be the person to take over the TV CIN when Terry decides to give that up as well?

Maybe he's getting a taste of it on radio first?

I would think the right honourable Mr Evans would be the man? I don't know if Terry will come back on the Radio for a week next year for CIN?

Mark I was talking about the Television CIN, not the radio one which of course Ginger unfortunately will do.

You were talking about radio not TV which I was.

Evans is not the right honourable either.

I'd like to be associated with the remarks of the previous two speakers.

I'm sure that I either heard or read that Sir Terry said they would have to shoot him before he gave up CiN, although I don't know whether he speciified radio and/or TV.

On the homepage of the R2 website, under the "On the Radio 2 Website" section, there's a headline - "Wrighty to Go".

I thought that a lot of people would be very pleased with that... were it not for the fact it referrs to podcasts

Very Happy

Norton is so much better than the usual incumbent. I wouldn't be averse to having him on all year round.

That was the choice of a listener. Part of this week's Oldies.

Ahh. That's where Norton differs from Wright - someone asks for a song, and - crazy idea - he actually plays it rather than swapping it for something he prefers. It'll never catch on...
