| He was in on Steve Wright Show too on Friday 2nd October. Steve had to add at the end so what's next. Ken replied " As long as everyone wants me I will be staying" Correct answer. He did also mention he would be like another David Jacobs and still be working in broadcasting even if it was one or two days a week. I wouldn't read too much into that. |

| The curious thing about the Steve Wright interview is that Tim Smith had clearly spent time with Ken and knew him quite well, but Steve seemed surprised by even the most basic facts of his colleague's life. |

| I don't think my colleagues know very much about me, not even my age or when my birthday is. To me colleagues are people I work with, friends are a quite different matter. Maybe this is the way Steve sees his job, you know just somewhere to work. |
