Councils who clean up leaves are sending more to landfill sites, because they could contain rubbish and not considered as compost anymore.

I'm surprised that there isn't a sorting machine available, that would shake out most of the litter, which must usually be heavier than the leaves

I remember seeing a company who compresses leaves into Leaf Logs for household fires, and I thought what if they contain dog poo Question
