The Telegraph headline today: "Abu Dhabi will not ride to Dubai's rescue"

And in the Times: "Abu Dhabi rides in to rescue Dubai"

I can't wait until I have to pay to read newspapers on-line Rolling Eyes

Apparently the group which owns the Northumberland Gazette is possibly going to start charging for its website version. Rupert Murdoch is said to be looking on with interest!

Hi Ian

Caught a little bit of that on the news last night but was on the phone at the same time so don't know all the ins and outs. I heard something about advertising?

H

PS completely off topic, but can you remind me of the radio station that you were involved with earlier in the year?

Rupert Murdoch wants to charge for online access to The Times and The Sun/News Of The World. He'll be watching how this goes with interest.

One of the local papers in our area has just announced that they will now charge, I know someone who won't be paying and that's me!
