I think we may have an argument on both side? Yes we needed to remove Saddam Hussein which ended his life. On the other issue we have caused so much damage in that country and made things 10 times worse. There is also another war going on between them too. It's exactly how Ireland started, but in a more brutal way.

But regardless of what his views are now he blatantly lied about the WMDs in the first place.
Who are WE to say who should be the leader of another country? |

Tony Blair's heart was certainly in the right place. Wanting to rid Iraq of the most brutal dictatorship the world had seen since the end of WWII? Hardly a crime.
Amazing how many "liberals" crawl out of the woodwork bleeting about how "ghastly" it is that we got rid of saddam Hussein.
Mind you, we had the same thing after the defeat of adolf hitler. Oswald mosley & the mitford clang spring to mind |

Tony Blair is a proven liar (the dodgy dossier etc) I laughed out loud in disbelief when the 45 minutes claim to attack the UK was made! I think you support him Clive, because he and the US back Israel whatever crimes they commit against the people they steal land from.
Hussein kept Al Qaeda out of Iraq, but they are there now with a vengeance! Blair and Bush are war criminals, plain and simple. |

Briant, the Afghan & Iraq wars had nothing whatsoever to do with Israel.
As for Israel "stealing" land, the opposite is true. Israel is tryting to negotiate to give away an integral part of Eretz Yisrael, Judea & Samaria, so that the Arabian Migrants (Palestinians) can have their own state.
Sadly, Mahmoud Abbass has caved in to the Arab Nazi Party (Hamas), & is refusing any peace talks & any prospects for a Palestinian state.
As to Iraq, would you also have opposed Britain standing up to Hitler in the thirtees? Thank God Britain has had two great Prime Ministers- Churchill & Blair- prepared to stand up to tyranny, rather than quislings like Chamberlaine & Cameron |

That was Saddam Husseins' attempt to turn that conflict- which was about Iraq's invasion of Kuwait- into a war about Israel.
It didn't work for him.
Israel has nothing to worry about from any of the Arab countries. Both Egypt & Jordan have relations with Israel, & ALL the Arab countries trade with Israel secretly.
You can find all the top israeli products in every arab capital (labels changed) & products of every arab country in Israel.
The arabs need Israel to keep the middle east economy going.
The only country that worries Israel is Iran. And iran worries the Arabs even more.
If a war were to be fought that would benefit Israel, it would be a war against Iran. |
