Sir Terry Wogan said thankyou to all of his listeners hungup his breakfast headphones, and then drifted off into the snow outside Western House London. It was a very emontional moment for all the country who have listened to him over the last 27 years or less. Did anyone have a little cry?
He will of course be back on the 14th Feb 2010. |

I took advantage of Dorchester being full to bursting with TOGs.. so went shopping while Terry was on for the last time.... Waitrose was empty! It was brilliant! Will catch Terry on listen again this afternoon from 2pm Just wondering if Terry could come back and leave again next Thursday at about 09:15.... |

Terry's final little speech was quite moving even for a non Wogan fan. He got his CIN bit but the bit he got wrong was when he said I know you will all welcome Chris Evans, er no Terry so we but wont and dont |

I think if you read between Wogans lines when he say's " I know you will all welcome Chris Evans" Is he's been reading the bad parts what have been said on these forums and trying to convince listeners just give him a shot. At the end of the day Chris is doing a job what he enjoys. The problem is the bad does haunt him with some listeners. |

I cant believe Terry would read these forums and I am sure he was just being polite. However, this mornings breakfast show has been top notch, very amusing with good music. |

Terry would have just been responding the general feeling - and I expect he's had a fair few e-mails sent direct to him from the TOGs. He doesn't need to come here to know what people think! |
