Adam Crozier's career is a good example of 'The Peter Principle' when someone achieves their own level of incompetance and then keeps getting promoted because of the system. |

He turned the Royal Mail around and made a profit, but it does seem as the heat gets hotter he's leaving. Meaning the Royal Mail is really in deep trouble over privatation, and workers striking over working conditions. So if you look at it he's acheived something at the royal mail, but stuff the workers. |

Buy this book if you can Mark, 'Dear Granny Smith' by Roy Mayall. You'll see the mess people like Mr Crozier have made of the service. |

Too true, we bought this book after hearing it read as 'Book of the Week' on Radio 4, just before Christmas. It is a very interesting book and a good read. It makes you realise how the Royal Mail has been destroyed and what the poor postie has had to put up with.
Perhaps one day when Mr Crozier has tried enough jobs, he might actually find one that he can do. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |
