BBC Radio 2 has announced Melanie Sykes will be joining Alan Carr Saturday Evening Show. Melanie has presented many radio shows, and was with Des O'Connor on ITV before the lunch time chat show was axed in 2003.

It would be difficult for radio 2 to come up with a worse programme, but no doubt they will try Rolling Eyes

Charlie Brooker referred to her programme with Des O'Connor as 'Toady With Des & Mel' in the first Screen Burn book, because of the way they schmoozed with their guests!
