Ken Bruce had one advertising his return after 1 week off. Is that really necessary? I suppose they all want one now that Chris gets promoted by the network! Laughing

Maybe it's to desperately claw back all the millions who turned off Alex Lester? Wink

Steve Wright seems to be getting a lot of "I'm Back!" trails this week - and he even sings over his jingle!

That could backfire. Rolling Eyes People might actually remember to retune at 2.

Steve Wright sings over everything he plays almost and sneers at songs he does not like, bet his producer loves it. Still after Pete Mitchell, i am almost pleased to hear he's back, thats almost Exclamation

It's the trailers for what's on the TV I dont understand.
Especially that Torchwood one a while back when it gave you the whole story including the ending. The only thing missing was the confusedfacial expressions.

Like certain 'A' playlisted tracks, I find that some trailers are grossly overplayed, sometimes to the point where they can actually put me off the programme that's being advertised. Though I'm sure that's not what trailers are meant to be doing! For me, it's particularly bad with comedy shows, when I've heard the joke over 100 times before the actual show goes out and consequently it's just not funny anymore.
I also hate it when a track goes unannounced because the DJ and/or producers seem to be in a hurry to play that trailer for what sometimes seems like the millionth time of hearing Rolling Eyes Even worse I find if I'm waiting to be reminded what the track was because it was something I like but haven't heard it in years.

YES
I'm in complete agreement, but I have to say it annoys me more when they dont tell you the track when its done because they're to busy telling you about the show that they're currently talking about Evil or Very Mad
or they're to busy humming the end of the song because they cut it too soon.
