I've had a week and a half on Tiree, Barra, Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist. Was booked on today's Lochmaddy (North Uist) to Uig (Skye) ferry but it's been cancelled due to high winds!
Tomorrow's is fully booked so I guess I'm stuck here for a couple more days at least! Maybe I'll get home for work on time next Monday!

Hope you didn't stay at the same B and B as we did on Uist. It didn't take much inventiveness for us to dub it Fawlty Towers!

Ron, I managed to get to Skye for 0440 this morning, and was home before the Jeremy Vine show finished. Twas a bit rough although I was one of the lucky unaffected ones - a few people looked a bit green about the gills.
Ian, which/where was your Uist B&B (North or South Uist)? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
