BP Chief Executive Tony Hayward is to leave. He's been a PR disaster since a oil rig blew up in the Gulf of mexico although BP are cleaning up the oil slick.

yes, £12 million isn't it? I'm sure he can get his life back with that...

Perhaps I'm being a tad cynical, but it's funny how this announcement comes so soon after Cameron met with Obama last week at the White House, and that "BP" was perhaps the biggest item on the agenda.
And didn't Call Me Dave say something about Britain playing second fiddle to America's bow back in 1940? Things haven't changed much if that's the case!!! |
