Whilst reading this morning's 'Janet and John' story, The consumate professional that is Terry Wogan lost it completely. After about a minute of laughter between him and Boggy, he managed to finish the story.

There'll be complaints!

His laughing was actually funnier than the story Laughing It's usually Boggy who loses it, maybe we all remember the firework incident.

Quite a regular occurence really. Remember those occasions when 'Boggy' corpsed during the traffic bulletins? Terry has also been known to have a fit of the giggles whilst attempting to read out the latest 'Chuffer Dandridge' missive

Janet and John sent me out to work today in a howling gale with a smile on my face.

No complaints from me!

The reference to complaints was tongue in cheek - however, I reckon there will be comments tomorrow from the usual togs.

Why does his Woganship use that silly voice when reading the J & J stories, I'm sure it's a recent change. Apart from that, very funny and near-the knucle!! Very Happy

He's been using it for quite a while, now.... I like it when he forgets which voice he's supposed to be doing, and Boggy's exasperation when TW mentions him 'skipping'.... yes, the stories are getting a little predictable but they're still a load of fun. Very Happy

Tuesday's J&J story was funnier than Thursday's, but Terry's reaction was better on the latter.... Laughing

I still enjoy the J+J stories even if they are a bit 'samey' Sometimes the spotaneous laughter is funnier than the story itself Laughing

Does TW still read them out 'blind'? I love it when he suddenly realises what word/combinations of words are going to come back and haunt him in a few minutes.... absolutely priceless! Very Happy

Finding Wogan increasingly irritating! For instance his outburst today against tax breaks for the British film industry. He opined that he should be getting tax breaks instead.
we're already paying for wogan with our taxes! He wants more & to cripple the British film industry at the same tyime

Firefly/Rachel,

The level of membership we have with the forum supplier means we can't import smileys to the messaging format, but we can import images that we store at the R2ok Photobucket. There's a note all about it in Announcements section.

You don't need to look far for the 'link' for the new smileys, just use the quote facility (as I have hear and you can cut'n'paste the link like this:

and if you remember the names of the old emoticons then you can change the gif name like this:
