We watched the first episode last night.... so what do we think ..Aliens... Americans or the Russians?
My guess is that the'll try to lead us down the Alien path at first but it will turn out to be a secret black American project that has discovered and is harnessing a new power source .... the people from the first submarine will not be dead but working on the much bigger suspect sub that turned up last night, all of them being held captive there to maintain the secrecy..... |

Ok so it was the Russians; apparently it's all in the welding, and the woman from the intro episode isn't dead after all....good, cos I like her. I'm trying hard to like this show but OMG it's tedious... let's have some excitement... I want monsters, explosions, water gushing in, inventive use of rope, desperate situations, throw in an alien or two, that usually works, and there's not been any sex of any kind at all so far! If there is going to be any survivors, I want them to escape in an upturned tin bath, walking along the seabed with just enough air until they reach some icy shore where they die of hypothermia or get eaten by a Polar Bear! |

After watching, I should say, enduring, the entire series, ( last-episode last-night)I can confirm, it didn't get any better- if anything it became more tedious with each episode. Synopsis of entire series... some people went down in a submarine- they met some people on another submarine-they didn't really get on with each other, most of the people died- a few of them came back alive. No sea-monsters, no aliens, no underwater city, no plot, no sex, no magic, no sci-fi technology- it was rubbish. Did anyone even get wet? No!
Someone got paid- real money for writing that. If that's good enough for the beeb, I'm sending in my CV. |

If you think that was bad, you should have watched "Mistresses". _________________ Minx
