A Facebook Friend of mine is trying to identify the composer of a tune called l'amidobi, which he describes as a polka in A minor.

I don't know and Google hasn't been any help. Can anyone here enlighten me?

Strange that google comes up with absolutely nothing for that word/spelling.

A polka suggests French/German/Polish etc. Do you know which language or country of origin it is supposed to be, Ian?

There is an Ambos Polka - can't tell what key it's in though
