That is such a good song. Didn't Sting recently fly half way around the world in a chartered jet to play at an "eco" gig? One has to laugh, doesn't one. |

And is there room in there for Claudia Winkelman?
Watching TV I realise how many people irritate me. Getting old and cranky |

I'm so pleased that Paul Daniels and Ann Widdecombe have made it through. It proves that the viewing audiences know their dancing, that's for sure! |

Craig has been quite nice, in parts, up to now so we'll keep his place in Room 101 on hold.... |

Even my mum was shouting at them to hurry up and give the results! We didn't need Robbie Williams after Norman Wisdom is scarcely cold in his grave...and Robert Webb as Hennimore in the 'Get Me Hennimore' sketches was surely his tribute to Pitkin in those films!

A good question - typically of the BBC, she is all over tv like a rash now - Strictly on Sunday, It Takes Two five days a week, and Film 2010.
Thet never learn Still, it could be worse - they could have promoted Lorne Spicer _________________ MiS |

Now I know some of you guys are not JRoss fans, but please if I could advise you to miss the new version of Film 2010.
Ross maybe many things but he is a huge film fan.
The new Film 2010 should be put in room 101 it's so poor, and why does it need audience participation? it's a film review programme. Well it used to be _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

I agree. It's dire. In my opinion it's never been as good as when Barry Norman wrote and presented it. |

I didn't mind Ross as I like my Japanese Anime' and odd films but at least it was a similar format to the Barry Norman program. This would appear to have gone for the "satelitte lesser channel!" look _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

My pet hate is when people on television describe things as 'Quite Unique'
Either something is unique or it isn't
Also I hate phrases like 'Terribly Good' and 'Awfully Well'
Why can't these people learn to speak English or at least a passable version? _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Scratchy labels on undies
No more Heartbeat on Sundays
Light bulbs the new dim sort
Each and every kind of sport
Supermarkets with self-service tills
Unopenable blister packs for my pills
Speed bumps in the road that shake my car
Road signs that don’t help you find where you are
Telephones that are only answered by machines
Sheet and sheets of adverts that fall out of magazines
Endless ads for sofas, too many every night
Young men’s low slung trousers, what a ghastly sight
When you think you have a letter and it’s only junk mail
The advert on the radio that calls itself a trail
The lack of gentle radio two to wake you up each day
Instead the manic person who I wish would go away
Oh oh I think I can hear the nurse approaching with the strait jacket and the tablets |

I hate the expression "For free", yet I see and hear it all around me. Where did that come from?
Surely, we either obtain something freely, it's free to obtain or we get it for nothing.
"For free" is a meaningless term. |

I get irritated when people talk about Pin Numbers
PIN stands for Personal Identification Number so they are effectively repeating themselves
Am I alone in this pet hate? _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Make the most of them, Becky, don't throw them into Room 101.
The end of the 100W (and 60W, 40W etc) bulb is nigh - they are all to be rated in lumen. _________________ Ron |

Re:Argos commercial - what is the point of beatboxing dubbed over the Bing Crosby clip?
Becky, when the interminable pauses happen on the SCD results show I long for someone to come in with breaking news that the Steve Hackett and Chris Squire album will be released this year, or that an unemployed artist from Leeds has been asked to work on something good for West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Well, Fiona Phillips got away with saying Paris Hilton had been freed from prison the week of the flooding! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
