......my Gordon Lightfoot 45rpm record "If You Could Read My Mind"?
I'm watching him on "Singers and Songwriters" on BBC4 (a 1972 "In Concert" recording that I remember seeing originally) and it reminded me that I lent it to someone.
Actually, it's finished and now John Martyn is now singing "May You Never". Fabulous. |

I have the original vinyl single of 'If You Could Read My Mind' which is a superbly crafted song. And I can't remember where, when or how I bought it. It was a hit in 1971 I think. I don't think I stole it though.
I also have the (even better) single, 'The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald'. If you have lost that too, then I'll begin to be a bit worried. |
