Wasn't it mentioned a while back, somewhat sarcastically, that there was no chance of this Forum reaching 100,000 posts by Christmas? 
Well it's not that far off now Possums...  If we all list the 100 things we like the best about Steve Wright, we're bound to clinch it..

Ha ha, we would have reached 100k loooonnnggg time ago if I hadn't deleted a load of garbage threads last year

Over 1000 rubbish messages have been deleted over the years, and believe me they were rubbish, mainly involving horrible trolls who inhabited the place in the early years.
But each message does retain its counter, e.g. Colin's '100k message' message was no. 101257.
You can see the counter for a message if you hover your mouse over the 'quote' button and look at the foot of your page (on IE) and the address will show the counter number.
So I went in search of the real 100k message, getting close to it with messages posted 3rd December, then getting real close around 6.20pm, but which thread was it in?
Eventually found it in the forum's most popular thread in the Quiz/Trivia section, Mallet's Mallet.
See who can find the message and the author!
