Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave are to host a radio show lasting 37 hours and 5 minutes to break Simon Mayo’s record for the longest running radio show.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/296025.stm

They’ll present throughout but the regular hosts will be there in their normal slots too, as ‘guests. It all kicks off at 6.30am on Wednesday 16th March.

Thanks for the advance warning

Since I can't stand Chris Moyles, Comedy (unfunny) Dave or Comic Relief I think it's safe to say I'll give it a miss

I think I'd rather go to the open day at my local crematorium Shocked

When I've heard Chris Moyles he seemed to go on for 37 hours anyway.

Interesting watching some of the shows today. They are thinking about pushing it to 50 hours which would enter the Guinness World Record.

No, Simon Mayo holds the record for the Longest-Running Radio 1 Show. A subtle, but significant, distinction.[/b]

Yes I know. Chris and Dave are trying to beat that. I think they will.
