Sorry what is he on about? Shocked Contract runs out, or moving on, or swapping shows?

I wonder if he has been offered. I know I'am jumping to conclusions a door to go and take over Breakfast from Johnny Vaughan on Capital Radio?

Or is he playing mind games?

Or taking over breakfast on Radio 2. But Terry is really on form these days. Maybe its his pre-retirement glow.

It has already been pretty much decided (but not announced) that Craig Doyle will replace Johnny Vaughan at Capital

Mark you should read Chris' blog for today. Here's a bit:

The weeks fly by when you’re doing a drive time show. You see, the thing is you wait all day to do the show and you can’t really do much other than prepare etc. and then when the show comes and goes it’s the night time and the day’s almost gone.
I gave Foxy a lift home last night (no one likes to see a mum to be getting blown away in the wind) and we were discussing the self same thing, we were discussing the difference in existence between drive time people and breakfast show people.
Sure, if you do a breakfast show, you have the rest of the day free but because you get up so dang early, you have this constant feeling of never really being here, especially post four o’clock in the afternoon.
We’ve both worked on breakfast shows before (Foxy on The Today Show - oooooh !) and it’s so easy to forget how getting up at four a.m every day messes with your being.
I’d never done a drive time show before this one but have been more than surprised at how fulfilling it is. You can get so much out of the two hours we have and everyone listening is in a relatively good mood cos’ they’re on their way home…
Never more so of course than on a Friday...Yippee !

Actually I think it refers to the quarterly review the team on the show do with the Controller.

I think rumours of the end of/ reinstatement of [delete as appropriate] civilisation as we know it are a bit overblown by Mark O on this ocassion. I heard his signoff last night and he said he is here till March .... at least.... Could be a lot longer.

Wasn't the 3 year contract for when he first joined? I think we may here a few sly comments from other presenters over the coming weeks. It's a type of playing mind games with the listeners. It gets people asking questions and wondering what is going on?

See look what you've done Laughing Some people believe any old rubbish. I notice the person who claims that STW is retiring in March has said nothing to up his/her claim but still people think it's true. Rolling Eyes

I think most of us know Chris is not a morning person anyway Laughing

What's the point though if all it does is start unsubstantiated rumours.

Evans has mentioned March a couple of times. That will be exactly 1 year since he started Drive Time wouldn't it? He may have only had a 1 year contract initially.

I hope he doesn't replace Wogan - Terry's really been on form lately.
