I watched the first semi final on BBC 3 last night
What a total rag bag of mediocrity
Out of 15 songs there were in my opinion only three even worthy of making the final and of those three two did not get through
I think I'll be sticking to watching the darts on Sky Sports when the second semi final happens tomorrow _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I'm not really into Eurovision anymore. I read Jedward are to represent Ireland. Between Blue and the lads. I wonder who will receive the most points? |

Can I take it by the lack of posts on this subject that everyone on this board was as underwhelmed as me by this year's contest? |

Actually I thought that the best song won which makes a pleasant change compared to recent years but the general standard was totally abysmal from what I saw
How on earth Italy could have done so well totally baffles me
At least the Germans had the thing properly organised and got on with it rather than dragging things out which seems to have been a feature of recent years
Do people think the time has come for Britain now to pull out of this annual charade and save quite a fair amount of money as a result? _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Top-rated telly show on Saturday, possibly of the week. Britain will be back next year, no worries! |
