Sweet retailer Thorntons is going to close upto 120 stores and concentrate selling there confectionary in other stores.

Well that's my birthday and Christmas presents for my mother up the spout. Shame they do some wonderful selections of chocolates and toffees.

You'll still be able to buy the boxes as they are still to sell via supermarkets etc. They also make the boxes of chocolates that Marks and Spencer sell.

I still love their alpini, and coffee truffles from the Continental range!

I didn't know they made the chocolates for M & S, thanks Helen.
I like these too and most of the chocolates in their Continental range, in fact I like most of their chocolates......full stop! Laughing

It's mainly the ones that come in big square boxes Angela that I know about. Some are all milk but I think some are mixed with dark and white chocolate. If you look you can see the similarity!

They don't make the Belgian and Swiss types as fare as I'm aware.

It's interesting that while Thornoton's are suffering, Hotel Chocolat are expanding the number of outlets it has in the UK and overseas.
