Sorry but I much prefer Jo Whilley
I don't understand why Craig Charles would fit in at any music station
Yet another TV personality masquerading as a knowledgeable radio presenter _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Sorry ruddles gonna have to disagree again. He has a soul and funk show which on 6 music and while it's not my cup of tea music wise this is one celeb who does know his stuff.I do agree that there are too many celebs who know sod all about music on the radio(Feltz,Madely)
On this subject though Ronnie wood has a show on absolute classic rock and if you have a DAB it's well worth a listen _________________ I found out how you can hurt an insect. It's the bees knees |

Craig may well be seen in Coronation Street, but he's one of the presenters at the station and on 6 music who does know his music. Vanessa Feltz is an example who just sits there reads out what's in the paper, emails and texts and really doesn't care about the music. Richard Madeley does know his music |

This is the means of communication these days. Maybe you should do the old way and type them a letter. |

Whiley/Charles who cares? The early evening slot is a void to me now since the unnecessary departure of Radcliffe and Maconie.
If I wanted to listen to the likes of Whiley I wouldn't have started listening to Radio 2 when I did. |

You've missed the point Mark....
Most radio shows these days rely on listener interaction in the form of "our text and email subject today is............"
It saves them having to do any actual work in preparing a show.
Zoe Ball is the worst offender.
It's lazy and pointless. My preferred format is the way that KB will read out a random email or text then wait for the listeners to develop on that subject....and usually with humerous results. |
