It'll be a pleasure to hear these fine ladies and their inspiration, Gareth Malone, on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show tomorrow.
They'll also be singing on Strictly on Sun 11 Dec.
I now call on the beeb to repeat the series which led up to all this, at peak time on BBC1, as early in the New Year as is practicable.

I think Gareth Malone is just so charismatic - he's completely wrapped up in his work. I'd be watching Strictly anyway, but that's a bonus. _________________ Minx

I think he's fantastic as well and have followed him since the very first series. I remember Johnnie Walker having him on Breakfast during one of his sitting in for Wogan stints.
That said I won't be listening tomorrow morning!

Yeah he's not so charismatic that I could bear that ... _________________ Minx

The Military Wives are cheesier than Harrod's cheese counter, but it's for a good cause and they have kept evil Cowell off the no 1 spot so fair play. |

I like their track and I hate anything to do with the X Factor (apart from Leona Lewis who was already a performer before she even went on there) so for me it's been a very good Christmas both musically and weather wise
Would have been perfect if I'd managed to get tickets for the Manics O2 gig last Saturday _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Technically not a great song but the sentiment is there and it's for a just cause.....
Would they have made it without the hype(ractivity) installed by Chris Evans? Who knows...
Although it has to be said that Military Wives didn't beat Xfactor to No1 as Little Mix were No1 last week due to the date of the final and the release date of the single. Wasn't there a double elimination around the time that this campaign to get MW to No1 was started?
Can anyone remember the name of the winning XFactor single? Thought not..... |
