5Live DriveTime presenter, and occasional newspaper reader on Lorraine, Aasmah Mir will be sitting in for Jeremy for a week from 19th March.
I like her. Much more suited to the slot than Vanessa Feltz. |

Don't know her Ian, but she has to be better than Vanessa Feltz surely?

It begs the question why they are not using Ms Feltz this time round
I wonder whether she's upset someone or they've had bad feedback _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

BBC London probably haven't got someone to cover her. |

I think it's more likely that they realised Feltz wasn't working.
I wonder, with Baker in for Evans, Mir in for Vine, and Allinson for Wright (to name a few) if we've turned a corner with the stand-ins? Getting more suitable people in the slot?
(Of course, Liza Tarbuck for Mayo blows this theory but at least it's not Richard bloody Madeley). |

It seems strange how voices speak volumes. Do they read the forums?
Before someone asks how come you found the information it's from her twitter account. |

Anyone been listening?
I've heard bits over the last 2 days and she seems quite good. As I say I've not heard her before but I don't listen to 5Live.

Sounds good to me, too. Although, oddly, she sounds a little different to how she does on 5Live - more relaxed. |

Bah! I've enjoyed her chats with Ken, too - always an essential test for any stand-in. |
