J.K.Simmons ~ The Ladykillers.

(You've Got Mail is a lovely film,Eileen....lovely soundtrack too. I haven't seen the updated version of The Ladykillers but can't think it can equal or better the original 1955 Ealing comedy)

Lee Remick ~ Days Of Wine And Roses.

( The title for this film came from a poem by English poet Ernest Dowson..

They are not long, the weeping and the laughter,
Love and desire and hate;
I think they have no portion in us after
We pass the gate.
They are not long, the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream.

The film was a tough watch with terrific performances from Lee and Jack)

Charlotte d'Amboise - American Blue Note

(Her surname caught my eye. Turns out she is the daughter of Jacques d'Amboise who played one of the brothers, Ephraim, in "7 Brides" He was a terrific dancer, and it looks as if she is too, judging by various photos)
