Anyone watching this on Channel Four..? The first two episodes have been brilliant, with Damien Lewis, possibly even better than he was in Band Of Brothers. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

I'm watching,Raver and the crackin' pace from the first one was kept up in the second one ...only problem is that my recording cut out before it ended properly ...(look away now, littlepieces, if you haven't caught up with it yet ) Carrie had phoned Saul to tell him Brody was on the porch.....did anything else happen?.
It's on on a Sunday night at 9, littlepieces, and repeated at 11-05 on the following night. |

Damian Lewis's acting in this has somewhat overshadowed that of the other actors but in tonight's episode Claire Danes took centre stage with some terrific acting of her own.......an honourable mention also for Mandy Patinkin as the lovely Saul ....the nail biting continues week after week watching this ....last episode next week! |

Agree that this is great TV.
But always remember to look on the bleak side.
The problem I have with watching most series these days is what is now known as the 'Lost' scenario (after that infamous TV series). The modern production model is for scripts to be created very shortly before shooting, and only if ratings figures justify it. What you get is scripts that raise loads of issues and unresolved questions in order to create intrigue and drag viewers in, without (at the time of writing) actually knowing how these story threads will end. This goes on and on, right up to the point where the ratings are not deemed sufficient and the show simply stops, with an announcement that there will be no more, or they cobble-together some sort of completely fudged ending and try to get high ratings for the final episode.
A lot of very upset people wasted four years watching 'Lost' !
Like you, I enjoy Homeland.... but beware! |

Lost was lost to me went it went to Sky .... the same as Six Feet Under and Mad Men ..
I hope they know where they're going with Homeland and that Sky doesn't think of poaching it. |
