Apparently some 100,000 bought the hardback edition!
The publishers don't think it's 'appropriate at this time' to release the paperback edition, which would have hit the shelves on 05/02.
What they mean is, nobody would buy them and they'd be left with several thousand copies to be remaindered, thus losing them any chance of profits on the book. Jade and her manager are apparently 'happy' with the decision - not surprisingly, since she'll have probably cashed the advance cheque already! _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

To write about a life, you first have to get one _________________ Geddon

My local library now has the hardback.
It supersedes the autobiography of the Krankies as the stock book that I'm least likely to borrow!

And here's me thinking that libraries were supposed to promote reading! _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Maybe she was too scared to write it herself, so a ghost wrote it for her.
