BBC Radio 2 seem to be getting listeners to tune to their BBC Local Radio stations for all travel updates now. Obviously with their limited short of airtime - Lynn, Sally and Bobbi are unable to cover the whole country during there reports.
It's a good way to keep BBC Local Radio alive... |

I think you'll find it's because of the flood situation Mark, not that they are stopping the travel news. There is no way R2 can have info on every single road closure because of the weather.
Out of curiosity does Sally have every Friday off now?

It does seem Sally has had a few Fridays off over the last few weeks. Maybe a new contract or she's just busy. |
